Our Work From Home Story

We started Gulf Islands Cruising School Ltd. in 1980 to teach sailing. In 1996 we had a small website designed giving us an online presence.

In 2006 we did a complete redesign of our website focusing on information, courses, products, and affiliate marketing. After having difficulties with another web design program, research led us to XSitepro Total Site Management which is very easy to use. Since moving our Web site to XSitePro, we are ranking much higher in the search engines and have noticed a substantial increase in traffic.

We took our interest in boating and turned it into a business. Our site can be visited at www.cruising.bc.ca
